SAFETY AND HEALTH POLICY AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY
The Reliable group is aligned with OSHAS and ISO:14000 standartds for Occupational Health and Safety. It provides that every employer engaged in business in the Reliable Group shall:

Furnish to each employee a place of employment free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm. |

Comply with occupational health and safety standards and rules, regulations and orders pursuant to the Act. |

Comply with, and require all employees to comply with occupational health and safety standards and regulations under the Act which are applicable to their actions and situations. |

Encourage employees to contact their immediate Safety Coordinator for information that will help them understand their responsibilities under the Act. |
Education and Training
The Reliable Group provides information and training to all employees regarding safe practices and emergency procedures. Employees will be trained to recognize and eliminate hazards in their work and workplace.
Employees will receive all training specifically required for safe use and operation. It is the safety coordinator responsibility to make sure all employees have received the safety training applicable to their jobs.
Emergency Systems
All employees must know procedures for effective handling of an emergency situation.

Planning
Reliable Group management shall identify the Environmental, Health and Safety of its activities regardless of new or modified services that it can control and over which it can be expected to have an influence in order to determine those which have significant Environmental, Health and Safety impacts.
Each department is required to identify the Environment (Aspect and Impact), Health and Safety (Hazards and Risk) of its activities, products and services. The identification includes all the routine and non–routine activities of the company, sub-contractors, visitors and the workplace where the activities are being carried out. The results of these assessment and effects of these controls are used in setting up EHS policy and its objectives. The department head or his/her representative shall provide preparation assistance, guidance and review results to the Management for review activities.
Legal and Other Requirements
Legal and other requirements directly applicable to Environment Health and Safety of Reliable Group are in compliance to the Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE) and the OSHAS Act of Malaysia.
Each department head / representative with the help of EHS Officer shall identify the legal and other Environment Health and Safety requirements that are directly applicable to its operations. The EHS Officer shall provide assistance and periodically review the compilations to ensure its accuracy.
The status and satisfaction of these obligations shall be periodically reviewed with management to ensure the suitability EHS management system and communicated with the employees and interested parties.
HAZARD IDENTIFICATION, ASSESSMENT AND CONTROL
Hazard identification and elimination is not only an inherent responsibility of supervision in providing a safe workplace for employees, but also requires employee involvement. As such, hazard evaluation and control shall be an ongoing concern for all. It is the responsibility of everyone (management, supervisors, and all employees) to identify, report, and correct, all possible hazards.
Reports should be made to the Risk Management Department if appropriate action is not taken or if the hazard is outside area of responsibility.
The Reliable Group has procedures for conducting inspections of workplaces and jobsites for compliance with health and safety rules. The purpose of the in-house inspection is to identify and eliminate hazards and unsafe practices before they cause an accident or injury.
MANAGEMENT REVIEW
The Environment Health and Safety Management System is reviewed and evaluated by management at least once a year, preferable within one month after the end of the fiscal year, to ensure its continuing suitable, adequacy and effectiveness.
